I awoke at 0530 and walked outside the hotel only to be greeted by a 20 mph wind, misting rain and temperatures in the 40's! Way too cold for this boy from Austin...so much for the Today Show plans! Instead, we slept in and then headed downtown. Tree and I spent a couple of hours wondering around the Metropolitan Museum. What an amazing and overwhelming compilation of pieces from around the world. We then had lunch at a Thai resturant in Upper Manhatten.
Planning to go out later for dinner...
